Woman Sought in Hit-and-Run that Injured Bicyclists

Escondido – A woman described as a petite Latina with shoulder-length hair in an SUV is being sought in connection with the Thursday morning hit-and-run that injured two teens, the California Highway patrol said.

The two boys, aged 13 and 14, were injured after a vehicle veered into the bike lane causing them to lose control over their bikes.

The teens suffered multiple abrasions and have been taken to a hospital for treatment. One of them possibly had a broken nose while the other had multiple cuts on his limbs and shoulders.

The driver reportedly pulled over and rolled down a window to ask the boys’ condition but quickly took off when one of them said that the other is bleeding.
