PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Woman Chases after Dog, Hit and Killed by Car in Buena Park

Buena Park – A 77-year-old woman who chased after her dog near Los Flores Avenue was hit by a passing motorist Monday morning and was declared dead the following day, reports said.

Investigators identified the woman as Belba Bray. Reports said she was hit by a 2008 Dodge Charger as she reportedly darted into Los Feliz Drive at about 6:30 am. She was taken to UCI Medical Center where she died at about 12:30 am Tuesday.

Bray’s dog was later found and was given to her son who rushed to the accident scene.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was not charged.
