CAR CRASH: Woman Arrested for Hitting Police Car and Running Away

Long Beach – An unidentified woman was arrested after striking a police car and another car and driving away from the scene of the accident.
According to police reports, the incident happened near the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and W. Anaheim Street. The woman was apparently driving the car when it struck the police car then proceeded to make a U-turn at the intersection and hit another vehicle.
Despite hitting the two cars, the woman allegedly sped away and officers chased her until they caught up with her.
The report did not mention if the woman was impaired but the offender was checked for injuries before her arrest.
