SUV CRASH: Visalia Man dies as SUV Crashes onto Walnut Orchard

Visalia – A 31-year-old driver was killed Sunday evening when he lost control of his SUV, causing it to overturn into a walnut orchard along Avenue 336 north of Visalia, the CHP said.

According to reports, Ebelardo Herrera of Visalia was driving his 1995 Honda Passport and was heading north on Avenue 336 when it swerved to the right and crashed onto a walnut orchard.

Herrera was thrown out from his Honda, which smashed into two trees. Police said he died at the scene at around 8:15 p.m.

Investigators say Herrera must have been driving at a very high speed when he lost control of his SUV, resulting in a crash.
