BOAT ACCIDENT: Victim in Boating Accident Succumbs to Injuries

Las Vegas, Nevada – A 22-year old man from La Habra, California, who drowned when the boat he was riding back-flipped, died during surgery last week, Lake Havasu City police reported.

According to authorities, Christopher Mesa suffered from head and neck injuries when the boat he was riding was moored in the shallow waters of Bridgewater Channel, a popular resort. The accident occurred during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Mesa died while being operated at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
