TRUCK ACCIDENT: Truck Driver Reaching for Soda Caused Traffic Accident

Oceanside- A big rig driver who was reaching for a soda caused a traffic accident on Interstate 5 on Tuesday at 1:30 a.m.
According to reports, the big rig driver dropped his soda while driving near Aliso Creek. When he attempted to reach for it, the big rig swerved and struck a Fed Ex truck. The big rig eventually rolled over, spilling debris and diesel fuel.
The big rig was loaded with tomatoes, but it did not spill on the freeway. Both drivers were unhurt in the accident. The packages inside the Fed Ex truck remained intact, reports said.
Police officers resumed traffic operations on the northbound lanes at 11 a.m.
