TRAIN ACCIDENT: Train Accident in Downtown LA Injures 8 People

Los Angeles – Authorities are investigating a train accident that injured at least eight people in downtown Los Angeles this morning.
According to the LA Fire Department, a Metro Blue train collided with a Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus in the intersection of Broadway and Washington Boulevard shortly before 7:00am.
The collision did not derail the train, but the bus broke its windshield after it ended up in a sidewalk.
Two of the injured people were train passengers while the other six was riding the bus.
All the injuries sustained in the collision were non-life threatening and only four people were sent to a hospital for treatment.
