CAR ACCIDENT: Toddler Struck and Killed by Own Mother in Pomona

Pomona - A one-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a truck being driven by his 16-year-old mother.
According to reports, the toddler was fatally hit by a 2000 Dodge Ram truck along the 600 block of Muir Street.
It remains unclear whether the boy suddenly stepped in front of the truck or was backed over by it.
According to authorities, the toddler was rushed to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where he was announced dead.
Reports said the mother has no license.
Drugs and alcohol are not likely involved in the fatal accident, said police.
