CAR ACCIDENT: Toddler Severely Injured in LA Car Crash

Los Angeles-- A toddler suffered serious injuries after her mother made a sudden lane change at downtown on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
According to Los Angeles Police reports, the mother was heading westbound on Route 66 near Loraine Avenue when she made an unsafe lane change. Subsequently, another vehicle rear-ended her car.
The mother sustained a broken rib, and her two-year-old daughter was in critical condition, reports said.
Paramedics arrived and transported the girl to Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. On the other hand, the mother was rushed to UCLA Medical Center.
Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
