VEHICLE COLLISION: Three Injured in Newport Beach Vehicle Collision

Newport Beach - At least three people have sustained injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle collision, said authorities.
The accident occurred along Hospital Drive and Newport Boulevard. When responding firefighters arrived at the accident area at around 8:17 am, they found out that one of the victims was thrown off the vehicle.
According to reports, two people sustained critical injuries, which were considered as non-life threatening. They were brought to a trauma center at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana.
Meanwhile, another person was brought to a different hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the collision, said reports.
