PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Teen Dies after Blocking Car’s Path in Acton

Acton - A 15-year-old girl has died after she intentionally blocked the path of a 2007 Mazda sedan along the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.
The teen was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as Samantha Rocha Dyer, from Acton.
According to authorities, the girl was walking along the northbound freeway’s right shoulder when she suddenly stepped in front of the car, which was moving in a 65-mile-per-hour zone, at around 12:40 a.m.
The driver identified as Marc Zuber, 30, from Palmdale, stopped the vehicle and waited for authorities to arrive at the scene. He was not arrested or cited following the crash.
