CAR ACCIDENT: Suspected Drunken Tulare Police Officer Arrested after Solo Car Crash

Visalia - An off-duty Tulare police officer has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after her patrol car swerved off the road and hit a fence and street signs, said Visalia police officers.
According to reports, the off-duty officer identified as Shannon Oliver, 41, from Visalia, was traveling west along Walnut Avenue when she failed to turn towards northbound Plaza Drive, causing her to lose control of the vehicle.
Oliver was not harmed in the accident.
