DUI-RELATED VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Suspected Drunken Driver Arrested after Crashing into Wall

November 8, 2010

Ventura County - A 28-year-old female driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after she smashed into a concrete wall in Saticoy, said reports.

The driver Suzann Bridges, from Encino, was traveling north on Vineyard Avenue when she suddenly went through the intersection along Highway 118 and crashed into the wall.

Reports said the driver and her passenger Josephine Razo, 23, from Camarilio, were extricated from the vehicle by firefighters after the accident. They were brought to Ventura County Medical Center to be treated for internal injuries, which were believed to be non-life threatening.

Court records showed that prior to the accident, Bridges was scheduled to be arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license due to DUI.
