VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Suspected Drunken Big Rig Driver Arrested after 101 Freeway Collision

Studio City - A big rig driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after he crashed into Ventura (101) Freeway’s center divider and collided with a minivan, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.
According to reports, the trucker was moving eastbound near Laurel Canyon Boulevard when the accident happened at around 6:10 a.m.
The driver of the minivan sustained serious injuries while the trucker suffered lesser injuries. One of them was brought to Cedars Sinai Medical Center while the other one was transported to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, said authorities.
The center divider and a number of vehicles were damaged due to the accident.
