Suspected Drunk Driver Injures Four

December 8, 2009

East County – Authorities have suspected that a solo crash Monday night in Jamul was caused by a drunk driver.

Reports indicate that there were at least four people injured in the accident.

The California Highway Patrol is yet to release the identity of the victims or the driver who slammed the four-door black Infinity onto a telephone pole on state Route 94 and Lyons Valley Road at around 11 pm.

The driver is charged with felony DUI while the extent of injuries of those involved is yet to be released as police continue to investigate the accident.
