MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Speeding Motorcyclist Dies after Hitting Center Lane Divider in Bakersfield

Bakersfield - A 33-year-old speeding motorcyclist has died after he hit a center divider, said reports.
The Kern County coroner’s office identified the male motorcyclist as Marcus Overton, from Bakersfield.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, Overton was moving westbound along Snow Road at a speed of 90 mph when he tried to overtake a slow-moving vehicle, but lost control and crashed into the center divider.
Reports said Overton, who was wearing his helmet at the time of the accident, sustained fatal injuries after being ejected from his vehicle.
