Speeding Driver Crushes Pedestrian’s Legs

OTAYMESA --- A 33-year old pedestrian was hospitalized after he suffered from severe injuries when his legs were pinned and crushed to a parked vehicle near Otay Mesa Road Monday noon.
According to San Diego Police the accident happened as a vehicle driven by a 42-year old man and heading north along Heritage Road lost control as it tried to avoid another vehicle, hitting a truck and several trees in the process before striking the pedestrian.
As investigation is ongoing, authorities have already ruled out drunk driving as the cause of the accident.
