CAR CRASH: Speeding Driver Critically Injured in Fullerton Crash

Fullerton – A 21-year old motorist was critically injured while his 20-year old passenger was unharmed after the car they were riding struck a power pole on State College Boulevard between Bastanchury Road and Yorba Linda Boulevard at around 11 pm Sunday night, authorities have reported.

Reports said the collision severed the power pole which resulted in a power outage in the area.

Investigators said the man was traveling a high speed before it lost control and hit the pole. It was not yet known if alcohol or drugs could be the factor in the accident.

The injured driver was extricated by rescuers from the wreckage and taken to a hospital for treatment.
