Blackburn Canyon - At least one person was fatally injured when a small plane crashed near Tehachapi that resulted in a brush fire, reports said.
According to reports of the Associated Press, the Cessna 210 crashed in Blackburn Canyon, Los Angeles.
Kern County Fire Department said the crash resulted in fast-moving brush fire due to dry and windy weather. The fire affected a house and led to clearing operations, local news reports said.
According to reports, KCFD officials sent at least 225 firefighters to control the fire and mandatory evacuation was issued for residents near the area.
