BICYCLE ACCIDENT: San Marcos Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Driver who Killed San Marcos Bicyclist

San Marcos – Authorities are currently looking for the hit-and-run driver who may have struck and killed a bicyclist in San Marcos last weekend.
According to the Sheriff’s office, Paul Michael Terpolilli was riding his bike on the southbound lane of North Twin Oaks Valley road when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle at about 10:30am last Saturday.
Terpolilli lost control and was thrown off his bike.
Paramedics were able to bring Terpolilli to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido where he died 3 days later due to his injuries.
Authorities have been looking for the hit-and-run driver since the bicycle accident.
Sheriff’s investigators have asked anyone with information about the identity of the driver or any information about the accident to call them at 760-510-5042.
