Public's Help Needed in Hit-and-Run Accident

Stanton - The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is asking for public assistance in their search of the driver who left a woman under a critical condition after hitting her while she was crossing an intersection.
According to authorities, the 49-year-old woman was struck while she was walking across the intersection of Magnolia and Pacific Avenues.
The driver reduced speed but did not stop the vehicle. He fled by moving towards south on Magnolia, authorities said.
The woman, whose identity is being withheld, was brought to UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Authorities are trying to locate a light blue full-size pickup that has a work crack on its back and some damage on the front end.
