CAR ACCIDENT: Police Officer Injured after Highway 101 Car Crash

Santa Barbara-- A police officer suffered injuries after he lost control of the car and struck another vehicle at Highway 101 on Monday at 10:15 p.m.
The Santa Barbara County deputy was travelling south of Highway 101 near La Cumbre Road when his patrol car swerved, collided with another vehicle, and tripped on its side, reports said.
According to reports, the officer sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
