Police Investigates Vehicle Accident in Crest

Crest- Authorities are investigating an accident that left two teenage sisters injured when their sports utility vehicle swerved off the road and plunged down a 300-foot ravine.
According to reports, the incident happened on La Cresta Road near Coyote Ridge.
They were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident, which protected them as their vehicle landed on its roof after rolling down a steep embankment.
The two were able to get out of the crumpled vehicle without needing assistance.
Both young women were brought to a hospital to receive treatment for mild to moderate injuries.
Police are trying to determine the cause of the accident.
