Pedestrian Hit by Two Vehicles, Dies

Escondido - An unidentified pedestrian was killed early Sunday morning as he was hit by two vehicles at Washington Avenue, authorities said.

Reports indicate that the man was crossing Centre City Parkway at around 12:30 am when he was hit by a northbound Nissan Frontier that threw him to the ground causing him to be ran-over by a Buick LeSabre.

The man, who was estimated to be around 35-45 years old died at the scene.

Both drivers involved stopped after the incident and tested negative for alcohol but the victim’s sobriety is yet to be determined.
