Pedestrian Hit, Dies on the Scene

Lancaster – Police confirmed today the investigation of the accident involving a pedestrian, a 55-year-old man, who was killed Tuesday night near 27th Street West.
The accident happened at around 11 p.m. along West Avenue K where the man was said to be walking and heading west.
Reports indicate that the pedestrian stepped onto the street and was hit by a westbound car.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Alea Adams, 41, of Lancaster.
Rescuers declared the pedestrian to have died on the scene. His identity is not released as the family is yet to be notified.
