Los Angeles - A pedestrian was killed after a truck hit-and-run accident at northbound 405 Freeway on Wednesday at 10:40 a.m.
According to Los Angeles Police reports, the truck driver was approaching the Santa Monica Boulevard when he struck the pedestrian. The victim was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Witnesses commented that the big rig driver fled the site. Authorities are still investigating the identity of the victim and the location of the truck driver.
