Drowning: Palmdale Man Dies after Diving Accident

Los Angeles - A 58-year-old man died after a diving accident in Palos Verdes Peninsula on Sunday afternoon.
The Palmdale man was found unconscious near Flat Rock after a recreational dive activity, Redondo Beach Harbor Patrol officer said.
Rescuers airlifted the victim to a local hospital, but he was declared dead around 1 p.m.
Lifeguards clarified that the diving conditions on Sunday were perfect and other recreational divers were fine.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of accident.
