DOG ATTACK: Owner Face No Charges in Pit Bull Attack Incident in Meadowview

Sacramento-The city’s District Attorney’s office has announced that no charges will be filed against a pit bull owner whose pet attacked and severely injured a 9-year-old girl last August.

According to reports, no sufficient evidence which can establish the pet owner’s liability in the attack was found.

The girl, who was identified as Sabrina Carrasco, was attacked by the pit bull while she was playing with her family members in Meadowview.

Reports said the girl sustained deep puncture wounds in the shoulder and neck. In addition, a critical face nerve was severely damaged due to the attack, causing the right side of the girl’s face to become paralyzed.

The pit bull was put down after the attack.
