No Arrests Made in North County Pedestrian Accident

North County- Police have made no arrests in connection with the pedestrian accident that left a man with serious injuries.
According to authorities, a 49-year-old man was struck by a sports utility vehicle on South Fe Avenue, near the San Marcos and Vista’s boundary.
A 37-year-old woman, from San Marcos was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer along south on Santa Fe Avenue when she noticed the man walking across the intersection with Palmyra Drive, said police.
It was reported that the man wrongly crossed the area against a light.
The driver swerved but hit the pedestrian.
The man was airlifted to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment of serious injuries.
The police later released the woman as they found out that she was neither speeding nor driving under the influence of alcohol when the accident happened.
