Railway Accident: Muni Train Accident in San Francisco Injures Three

San Francisco – A train accident between two San Francisco Municipal light-rail street cars injured three people this morning.
According to Muni spokesman Judson True, an F-Market streetcar and a J-Church train collided with each other before 6:24 am on San Jose Avenue near the Highland Avenue overcrossing.
Both were traveling inbound, toward downtown.
The injured parties include the operator of the F-Market train and two women who were passengers in the J-Church.
They were all brought to a nearby hospital. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
There were no passengers on the F-Market street car when the collision occurred.
Authorities are still investigating possible causes of the accident.
Bus shuttles were set up to accommodate J-Church riders between San Jose Avenue, 30th Street and Balboa Park.
