Motorcycle Accident: Motorcyclist Hurt in Grantville Intersection Crash

San Diego – A motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries Monday morning after the motorbike he was riding smashed into an SUV at Camino Del Rio North and Fairmount Avenue intersection in Grantville, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, the man, whose name was still unknown, was riding toward the intersection at around 10 am when he collided with a crossing Ford Explorer.
The motorcyclist was transported by an ambulance to a local hospital nearby. The intersection was closed for several minutes while investigation took place and in order to make way for rescuers.
Authorities are still identifying possible factors that might have led to the accident.
