MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Motorcyclist Dies after Hitting Animal in Madera County

Madera County - A 47-year-old male motorcyclist, from Chowchilla, has died after hitting an animal along west of Chowchilla, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.
The motorcyclist was traveling westbound along Roosevelt Road at around 11 pm when his 1982 Honda motorcycle hit an animal that was crossing the road.
Reports said the man was not wearing his helmet at the time of the accident. He was announced dead at the scene.
