PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Man Sustained Head Injuries in City Heights Pedestrian Accident

San Diego – Authorities are investigating the cause of a pedestrian accident that injured one man in City Heights this morning.

According to San Diego Police, the man was struck by a 1992 Chrysler in El Cajon Boulevard near 50th street shortly before 5:45 am.

The victim sustained head injuries and was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Chrysler stopped at the scene and answered questions for the police.

The collision closed down a section of El Cajon Boulevard between Winona Avenue and 50th.
