AVIATION ACCIDENT: Man Suffers Serious Injuries in Hang Glider Accident

Contra Costa – A 49-year-old hang glider suffered serious head and facial injuries after his hang glider plummeted at a school in Conta Costa County, reports said.
Christopher McKeon had launched Sunday afternoon from Mount Diablo with a hang gliding group when he got separated. He appeared to be looking for a landing spot at 30 feet above the grounds when he crashed into the ball field of Mountain View Elementary School.
He was found unconscious and was rushed to a hospital. Authorities are conducting further investigation into the accident.
