VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Man killed in Lamont vehicle collision

Lamont, California – A vehicle smashed into a semi truck Wednesday night, killing its 50-year-old driver.
According to reports, Miguel Armaya, of Lamont, crashed his vehicle into a truck at the intersection of South Fairfax and Panama roads at around 11 pm. A California Highway Patrol officer says the victim’s vehicle got stuck beneath the big rig.
Armaya was killed at the scene of the accident, while the truck driver’s condition was unknown, reports said.
Investigators are determining factors that may have caused the collision.
