CAR ACCIDENT: Man Injured in Interstate 15 Rollover Crash

Murrieta- A Calimesa resident suffered serious injuries after his car overturned several times on Interstate 15 on Tuesday at 1 a.m.
According to reports, Jeffrey Gerardo, was driving his Saturn SL2 near California Oaks Road when he lost control of the wheels. The car swerved and rolled multiple times down the embankment.
Passing motorists saw the scene and tried to help Gerardo out of the sedan. Murrieta fire officials cut the car's front door and pulled him. He was rushed to Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported. Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
