MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident Near Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa – A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries Wednesday afternoon when his motorbike crashed into a van along Highway 12, in unincorporated Sonoma County, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, the man was riding along Highway 12 at the intersection of Dutton Avenue, when it collided with a van at around 5:40 pm. Witnesses said the motorbike flipped several times and fell to the ground.
The rider was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. It was not clear if the driver or passengers of the van were injured or not.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
