DUI Accident: Lake County woman jailed after DUI bus accident

Lake County, Calif. – A 57-year-old woman suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon after her vehicle veered into the path of a school bus boarded by children, the California Highway Patrol said.
Sandra Jean Burnett, of Kelseyville, was driving her vehicle on Kelsey Creek Drive at about 2:20 pm when she swerved to the opposite lanes and crashed into the bus.
The 25 grade-school students riding the bus were not taken to the hospital, though four of them complained of pain, the authorities reported.
Burnett suffered minor injuries and was arrested by officials for suspected DUI charges. She was booked into Lake County Jail for suspected driving under alcohol influence, inflicting personal injury, driving without a license and violation of probation, according to records.
