PERSONAL INJURY: La Jolla Man Dies from Injuries suffered in Skateboarding Accident

La Jolla – A 27-year old man died after sustaining head injuries in a skateboarding accident, authorities reported.
Police said Justin Tomerlin, a former football player for Nebraska University and salesman for a healthcare company, fell and hit his head on the pavement while skateboarding downhill on Moonlight Lane last week.
The victim was placed on life support after the accident but died later.
Relatives of the victim said a wheel may have locked and caused the crash.
The police are still investigating the incident.
