BICYCLE ACCIDENT: LA Drunk Driver Rams into Koreatown Cyclists

Los Angeles -- An intoxicated car driver has slammed into a group of bicycle riders, injuring at least 11 on Thursday at 1:49 am, reports said.
Christine Elizabeth Dahab, driver of Honda Civic, was traveling at 5900 West Jefferson Place and Rodeo Road when she struck a group of 100 cyclists. At least ten riders suffered moderate injuries, and one was listed in critical condition, reports said.
Paramedics arrived and transported the injured bicyclists at a local hospital. According to Los Angeles Police reports, Dahab was using cell phone while driving, speeding, and driving under the influence when the accident occurred. She was arrested and booked with $15,000 as bail.
The group was known as the "Koreatown Riders" who meet on midnights for weekly rides. Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
