September 25, 2009
US pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson's has recalled its infant’s liquid Tylenol which were produced between April and June due to possible bacterial contamination.
The company said that nearly two dozen varieties of liquid Tylenol are covered by the voluntary recall including Infant’s Tylenol Grape Suspension Drops (1/4 0z.), Children’s Tylenol Plus Cold/Allergy Bubble Gum (4 oz.), and Children’s Tylenol Suspension (4 oz.)
On Thursday, the company said it has decided to announce a recall after the raw materials used in the production of the said products have tested positive in bacteria.
