January 24, 2012

Downtown Los Angeles – A big-rig rollover happened on the connector between Interstate 5 and Interstate 10 near downtown causing fuel spill in the area, reports said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened before 4 AM Tuesday.

The solo truck accident has caused a diesel fuel spill that called for a temporary road closure.

Reports said that the southbound Interstate 5, eastbound Interstate 10, and Mission Road going to Interstate 5 were closed up until 8 AM.

Motorists were re-routed at the Cesar Chavez Boulevard.

It is still unknown as to how many people were involved in the accident, how many were injured, and what the big-rig was carrying, reports said.
