VEHICLE COLLISION: Hit-and-Run Driver Boards Bus after Downtown LA Accident

Los Angeles – An unidentified driver was seen boarding a Metro bus to flee from the scene of a collision in downtown LA Sunday morning, authorities said.
According to reports, the man was driving a westbound Hyundai along the 7th Street around 5:30 am when he collided with a southbound Toyota Prius on Alvarado Street.
After the crash, witnesses said they saw the man get out of his vehicle and board a Metro bus.
The three occupants of the Prius were said to be in stable condition after sustaining injuries from the accident. It is unknown if the Hyundai driver was injured.
Authorities are yet to determine which vehicle ran the red light and caused the accident.
