PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: HighSchool Student Injured by Two Cars in OC

Orange County - A 13-year-old boy has sustained moderate trauma injuries when he was hit by two cars while walking to school, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.
The incident occurred along the 18900 block of Spring Street near Santiago Middle School and El Modena High School at around 7:30 a.m.
Reports said the boy was walking towards Santiago Middle School when he was suddenly hit by a Toyota 4Runner that was moving west along Spring Street. He was then thrown into the path of an eastbound Land Rover Discovery.
According to the Land Rover driver identified as Carol Walker, she stopped her vehicle after the accident and saw that the boy was lying on the street.
The boy was brought to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana to be treated for his injuries.
Reports said no one else was injured in the accident.
