Los Angeles - A young girl was reportedly taken to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries after being struck while running in front of a moving vehicle in front of Irving Middle School the other day, reports said.
Authorities said the accident occurred as the vehicle was moving about three to five miles per hours near 3000 block of Estara Avenue.
Pedestrian accidents are common in public places such as schools and malls, in Los Angeles. The number of pedestrian-related accidents have increased recently.
