May 24, 2010

Anaheim – A four-year-old boy suffered minor injuries Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle in Anaheim, the police reported.

The boy and his 14-year-old sister were crossing the 900 block of La Palma Avenue and North Topeka Street at about 8:45 p.m. when a dark sedan hit the boy, Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez said.

The driver stopped and asked the two if they were OK, but when the girl told him to pullover, he suddenly drove away.

The driver, described as having dark skin and a beard and moustache is facing hit-and-run charges.

Anyone who has information about the driver is asked to contact the Anaheim Police Department.
