MULTI-VEHICLE COLLISION: Four-car collision kills one, injures several people

La Puente - The driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a white sedan traveling on the westbound lane head-on. It then hit two more vehicles.
The driver of the Cherokee and his passengers were taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. A woman and two children on the sedan had to be cut out of the car. They were also taken to the hospital due to serious to moderate injuries.
The sedan’s male driver did not survive the crash; he was killed upon impact. On the other hand, none of the occupants of the third and fourth vehicle were injured.
The crash is still being investigated, but Barbosa believes alcohol was a factor as alcohol containers were found inside the suspect’s vehicle.
