Car Accident: Female driver killed in 60 Freeway car crash

Montebello – A woman in her mid 40s has suffered fatal injuries Wednesday morning in a high-speed crash on the eastbound lanes of Pomona (60) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said.
According to reports, the female driver, whose name was not released, was driving at a high speed on 60 Freeway near San Gabriel Boulevard at around 11:05 am when she lost control of her Chevrolet Suburban.
Officers said the car overturned and crashed into a pole, ejecting the driver. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Investigation is still on-going to determine factors that have led to the incident.
