TRUCK ACCIDENT: Fatal Crash Kills One, Seriously Injures Another in Bakersfield

Bakersfield – A fatal road traffic accident killed one man and seriously injured another in Bakersfield last night.
The incident occurred at about 7’o clock in the evening along Buena Vista Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a tractor trailer truck got stuck in the mud from the recent storms that hit Southern California.
The truck was blocking part of the westbound lane when it was rear-ended by a pick-up truck driven by Adam Wadkins, 32.
Wadkins died at the scene while the driver of the tractor trailer, whose identity was not released, sustained major injuries as he was standing next to the truck during the crash.
The CHP is looking at the muddy roads as the probably cause of the fatal accident.
Alcohol was ruled out as a factor in the crash.
