FORKLIFT ACCIDENT: Factory Worker Injured in Grimmway Farms Forklift Crash

Bakersfield - A factory worker at Grimmway Farms was seriously injured after a forklift accident on Wednesday at 10:30 am.
The man was driving a forklift when he crashed onto a metal gate, and a pipe pierced his lower torso. Firefighters arrived at the scene and used Jaws of Life to cut the pipe. Paramedics airlifted him to Kern Medical Center, reports said.
Reports said that the 53-year-old factory worker underwent surgery and has undisclosed medical condition at this time.
Kern County police officers are still investigating the cause of accident at Grimmway Farms.
